This afternoon Helen brought in the seeds that some of the residents planted a few weeks ago. Helen has been nurturing them at home until they were big enough to transplant. We had a look at all of them in the tubs which we decorated earlier and discussed the flowers. Some, such as the cornflowers bought back nostalgic memories. Margaret P and Olga did most of the work, working really hard making holes for the plants in the big bed and deciding where they went and between us we filled the bed up with cornflowers, cosmos and asters and John sat and supervised us whilst we worked, whilst Nicole and Penny chose to sit in the doorway of the lounge and watch us. The tubs with the rest of the flowers in just need waterproofing before they can go outside.
