Many of us chose to do some reminiscence jigsaws together – one about Spring and one about Winter. These have specific questions to answer and Mary, Roger, Kieran, Tricia and Margaret all enjoyed completing the jigsaws and answering these and sharing their favourite childhood memories. John chose to play a few group games of dominoes with Roger (daycare visitor) and Kieron (student volunteer). Roger was telling them all about his exciting life in the Army and some of his daring escapades and they were both very interested. A few of our residents found looking at Pictures to Share books and pictures very relaxing and a helpful way of reminiscing and conversing with each other and staff.
