Home from Home
This afternoon residents looked at some home from home equipment, things ranged from an old trouser press, brass ornaments, old fashioned soaps, oven gloves and silver cutlery and a foot cleaning kit.
This sparked conversations about how the residents used to have to polish things around the house and get their uniforms pressed and polished ready for work on a regular basis. It ended up being a lovely session with lots of laughter and reminiscing.
