Jimmy and his companion represented the Hallamshire Care Home on the Big Ride event in the city centre today. We had Peter as our pilot and we followed in procession with hundreds of other bikes of various shapes and sizes to raise the profile of cycling in our city and the need for better and safer cycling provisions. The BIG RIDE this year is calling for, “Safe routes to town, safe routes to schools, safe high streets for all!”. Great to see lots of children and dogs taking part too. Jimmy enjoyed the experience and said he definitely felt all the bumps in the road.
