Residents enjoyed a fun-filled church experience this morning in the Conservatory. Others preferred a more one-to-one time with staff, reading out from a Liturgical booklet. We sang some of our favourite Sunday school songs and of course “All Things Bright and Beautiful” as it was such a sunny day. We had fun holding a row of joined up coloured scarves to express our unity as we worshipped. Some chose to wave musical eggs in time to the guitar. Some chose to read out their favourite parts from the service booklet and we all said the Lord’s Prayer together, a firm favourite. Afterwards, we enjoyed looking at a video of the Sheffield Marathon, kindly supplied by Krystal via WhatsApp, to see our carer, Peter, on film.
