The Daily Sparkle is a reminiscence tool which works by stimulating residents’ happy memories, reminding them of their lives well-lived, building relationships between residents/staff and providing fun and interesting articles and quizzes. In preparation, these articles for the week were downloaded, printed off and laminated for residents to look at each day of this week. Some chose to read a few in one go or preferred to have staff read them out to them and ask the questions. Very interesting and great for discussion and stimulating memories.
