Residents and families enjoyed attending the Menu Planning Meeting this morning in the Conservatory led by Kirsty the chef. Prior to the meeting, staff encouraged a guitar singalong activity to act as an icebreaker and create a friendly, stimulated atmosphere. Good to take song requests from residents and Ann enjoyed the opportunity to sing solo, performing the Burlington Bertie song. Staff researched the song and found many other verses and read these out to the group and they enjoyed this very much. Something to print out and read or sing again in the future.
