Residents enjoyed an early Birthday Party for Bryan this afternoon. (He will be 89 tomorrow!). Ali, his daughter, came along, which made the event extra special for him. Other family members joined us too. Bryan loved being the centre of attention, enjoyed a dance with staff, liked his Birthday song and cake and had fun wearing the “Happy Birthday” hat. Everyone loved listening to Nicola Farnon sing and play the cello. She performed a variety of genres and encouraged everyone to join in with the singing, some knowing the words better than she did! We all had a wonderful time and are looking forward to welcoming Nicola back again in the New Year.
