Residents enjoyed reminiscing about their past during a fun-filled café experience. We had a balloon icebreaker, then played Finish the Proverb Game and did some poetry recitation. We all enjoyed a guitar singalong, complete with song sheets, some clapping and even dancing. We played the Alphabet Game during the refreshment time, where they see a letter and a prompt card, such as ‘girls names’ and have to match the letter to a name. This encourages memory and personal story sharing. Very competitive! William and David were joint winners.
