Residents chose to do a variety of activities this morning. Bert wanted a walk out in the garden with staff and enjoyed the opportunity for a chat, fresh air, exercise and to marvel at the beauty of nature. John wanted to share some poetry with staff and enjoyed reading out loud some of his favourites. Jean was content to sit in her room watching TV and reading her Saga magazine. She was pleased for the opportunity to talk about animals with staff and particularly liked the wooden giraffe and we talked about zoo animals and looked through a local magazine with various animal pictures.
