Residents enjoyed an informal church service in the Conservatory this morning. Good to have William and Barbara there for the first time and we made them feel very welcome. We sang a few “Getting to know you” type songs, prayed for those in need, prayed from a service booklet, recited the Lord’s prayer together and ended by singing the very popular song “Nice Cup of Tea” before having refreshments. We chose to watch a DVD loaned to us by Cedric – footage of the Queen’s Coronation. Good to compare this with yesterday’s coronation. We also continued looking at royal family memorabilia.
