We were invited to try out a new Friendship Event Called “No-one Alone” at the Ball in Crookes today, as part of a coronation celebration. We took along Edith, Clarice and Peggy and they enjoyed this with a lovely roast dinner, ice cream and a hot drink. Russell was performing live singing some great songs and there was a raffle and bingo. The room was packed out with folk from other care homes and the community. We found the experience worthwhile and will try out similar events in the local community in the near future.
