We booked another minibus from the Sheffield Council and was pleased to see our friendly driver, Paul, again. Residents enjoyed a very lively Crucible Tea Dance with Russ Elliott entertaining us with some fantastic songs. Great ones to sing, clap and dance (or sit-dance) to. We enjoyed an interval with tea/coffee and tasty Scottish shortbread served with love by the Crucible staff. Russ encouraged everyone to sing Happy Birthday to Eddie for his upcoming 90th birthday on Thursday which made him very happy. Good to see the room packed out with folk from other care homes and the local community.
