Residents enjoyed a lively church service in the Conservatory this morning. Good to have two new residents join us – Jean and Gill – and we all sang “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands” to try and learn each other’s names. Most chose to wave a musical instrument in time to the guitar and we sang a few popular church songs and hymns. We followed a liturgical service book, saying prayers for our loved ones and drawing close to God in worship. John read out a scripture from Matthew. We ended the time listening to Grimethorpe Colliery Band playing our favourite hymns with some singing along.
