Over the weekend, most of the residents chose to help make lavender bag for themselves, or at least enjoyed smelling them. On Saturday, we had a table full of ladies helping take the lavender from the stalks. What a wonderful aroma! Staff sewed some bags and residents put the dried lavender into the bags and helped seal them with a ribbon. Something to put in their “knicker drawer”. This activity led to lots of interesting conversations about memories of helping their mums to make lavender bags.
