We changed the Gardening Club to the morning to try and avoid the excessively hot weather. Lovely to be on the conservatory patio for a change. Had a relaxing time looking at gardening books and pictures. We picked some flowers that we’ve grown on the back decking and put them into vases. John was keen to do a lot of watering of the flowering pots. Some sat in the shade and some were keen to sit in the sunshine for a while. Keith showed us a letter and picture he had received from a little friend he made at the recent Motion Sports Day. A young girl called Isla. We have her address so together we wrote a reply and will be sending it off shortly.
