This afternoon we celebrated the birthdays of Leonard and Norah. Our original singer had to cancel, due to unforeseen circumstances, so Julie Jackson, stepped in to save the day. We were very impressed considering that she hadn’t sang for three years, and was out of practice! Julie sang a lovely array of songs, including a couple from the Greatest Showman, which the residents really enjoyed so we are going to have a film afternoon so that they can watch it some time. We had lots of dancing, swaying and foot tapping going on. We sang happy birthday right at the end. Thank you to all of our staff that joined in and made it an enjoyable afternoon. What a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all!
