We had a few weeks preparation for this event – a tie dye activity with almost all the residents willing to take part and model their tee-shirt during the party. Lovely to see so many staff members and volunteers dressed up too. We had a brilliant time, dancing and singing along to songs from the 1960’s, i.e. very wide selection including Cliff Richard, Engelbert Humperdinck, The Beatles, The Hollies and Neil Sedaka. We had a break half way through, with a lovely buffet tea using china cups and saucers. Another fabulous evening. Next one planned for Saturday afternoon on the 25th June and weather permitting will be held in the garden. This one has an Hawaiian theme.
