We had an interesting Gardening Club outdoors on the back patio. Good to enjoy the warmer weather at last and continue with our gardening projects we began last month. We tried to name the young plants under the canopy – tomato, cucumber, marigold, lobelia to name but a few. We looked through gardening magazines and books. Then a small group of us – Keith, Lilian and Edith planted the plants we had propagated last month into bigger pots and placed them in our new greenhouse and watered them. We will be keeping a close eye on their progress and watering them regularly from now on. We had interesting conversations about past gardening experiences and our favourite plants/flowers.
