We had a fabulous time listening to our favourite songs from the 1950’s using a record player, which brought back many happy memories for lots of our residents. Many wanted to get up on the dance floor and boogie with some preferring to sit dance. We enjoyed all the props and getting dressed up, staff and residents alike. We had a buffet tea party in the middle of the evening, with china cups and saucers making this an extra special event. There were plenty of smiles throughout the evening. Great fun! Can’t wait for the next one which will be a 1960’s evening.
