This morning we had nature club. Vicky chose birds as our subject this morning, as we have been talking a lot about the sounds of spring and what a beautiful garden we have. We looked at two books together that have pictures and facts about each bird, but also the songs and sounds that each bird makes, which we really enjoy. We did lots of reminiscing about woodland walks and feeding ducks etc. We listened to nature sounds and had some relaxation in the main lounge. In the conservatory we had a game of pairs with the birds’ cards. We really enjoyed this morning. Tomorrow when we go out for fresh air, we are going to fill the bird feeders.
