This afternoon Vicky and Sara set up some seats in the garden, and blew up some beach themed inflatables, ready for our afternoon performance of Somewhere on-Sea, by the Spilt Milk dance company. Unfortunately, when we booked this, we didn’t know the weather forecast, and just took for granted that August would be fine, but at least it wasn’t windy and raining! We even had ten minutes of bright sunshine, where everyone was shielding their eyes! The young ladies were marvellous. Singing, dancing, playing the ukulele, and telling a story through the use of apparatus and costumes too. We had a lot of audience participation, which was wonderful!
