This afternoon we had Resident’s choice. We try to do this at least once a month, in order for our activities to be more person centred and not just us deciding what they should do. Our residents are all so very different in their hobbies and interests, so this is a good way to meet their needs. Some of the thing that we got up to this afternoon were: Watching TV, sitting in the garden, folding laundry, knitting, playing with baby dolls, washing baby bottles, cleaning, model making with K’NEX, crossword puzzles, word searches, reading letters from our families, looking at books, having a walk or just having a snooze.
