This afternoon we had a Songbirds session, with Yo-Tozer Loft. We enjoyed the beautiful orchids that Yo had in her hair. As it was a beautiful afternoon, we had the session in the garden. We had our new umbrella for shade. Only eight residents joined in today, as a few of us were quite sleepy, but we had a very enjoyable time. We had harmonizing going on, and plenty of energy! Our helpers today were Vicky, and Charlie. We sang some beautiful, meaningful songs, hymns and songs from musicals as well as action songs. As always, we used the percussion eggs, coloured chiffon scarves, and rainbow rope. Everyone gave positive feedback at the end, and enjoyed refreshments.
