This afternoon Vicky did a Home from home session. The session included laundry folding, pairing socks, “ironing”, knitting, winding wool and washing baby bottles. Not all of us are enthusiastic about domestic chores, but a few of us were in our element, and jumped at the chance. Some of like cleaning, so Vicky is going to but some spray bottles, cloths and dusters next and add those to list. Followed by brass polishing and shoe polishing. We did notice that the residents did feel useful and like they had been productive. A couple have offered to lay the tables ready for dinner, which is lovely.
