Today is Margaret P’s birthday and St Patrick’s day, and as Margaret P is also Irish this was a good excuse for some fun and celebration. We had some traditional Irish music on You Tube, upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs we had a bit of a clap along and upstairs we had fun dancing, chair dancing or clapping along and watching. It’s hard not to tap or clap along to Irish music! We had Irish quizzes, anagrams and crosswords as well as colouring. In the afternoon we played Irish picture bingo upstairs. Margaret was pleased with the lovely birthday cake that Kirsty had made and iced for her and we sang Happy Birthday during a visit from her family, before enjoying the cake with afternoon drinks. Not all the photos worked out today due to a technical hitch.
