This morning we had a joint birthday party for Peggy and Margaret P in the conservatory. Margaret P is Irish, so Carole Laine Greenway came to sing for us and gave us a fantastic selection of popular Iris songs and songs with Irish connections. This also put us in the mood for St Patricks day tomorrow. It took a while for some of us to get going, but then it was quite early in the morning. By the end everyone was clapping, swaying, chair dancing or up on their feet dancing. Jenny was the dancing queen today and enjoyed a lot of dances with everyone. Carole also showed us a bit of her brilliant Irish dancing. A great morning was had by everyone.
