This morning Vicky led us in a small church service. One service in the small lounge, and one service in the main lounge. We sang some old hymns and Sunday school songs together, said the Lords prayer together and listened to Vicky reading out scriptures and lead us in prayer. Vicky handed out some scriptures and quotes for us to look at and read out. We ended with individual prayer, where Vicky went around and asked each person, what they want her to pray about. We had some terrific responses, wanting prayer for our family and friends, for our own health, for all the children in the world and for those who are isolated and can’t get out to church. One resident approached Vicky later on and thanked her for the service in the small lounge, saying it gave him confidence to participate and that he misses church.
