This morning Vicky made snow globes with us from empty jam jars. (Thank you Peter for the jars) We couldn’t get our hands on any glycerine, so Vicky bought a few bottles of baby oil, which worked just as well. Everyone chose a jar, a mini tree and a colour of glitter. We started by gluing our Christmas trees to the inside of the lids. (This would have been better with a hot glue gun or super glue but, health and safety was priority). We filled our jars with the oil, added a touch of glitter, with some help and then screwed on the lids. We finished off by decorating the tops with some artificial flower heads. Everyone that joined in seemed to enjoy the activity.
