This afternoon Helen set up a table in the conservatory with pictures cut from wildlife magazines and asked who would like to join in with making their own picture or collage by sticking the pictures onto card. Helen facilitated a discussion about the countryside and its plants and wildlife, which worked well and people talked about scenery, birds and plants that were familiar to them. Penny especially enjoyed talking about this and planning her picture. Helen had drawn some shapes on the back so that afterwards we could cut the picture up to make them into mini jigsaws. Afterwards some people chose to do the jigsaws and Helen took them upstairs for people to try. Pam especially enjoyed doing these.
