This morning Helen offered massage to some of the residents who are unable to participate fully in other activities. As our regular therapist isn’t able to visit at the moment, it was nice for Helen who is also a Massage Therapist to be able to offer this instead, although not many people got to benefit because of gazebo visits. It is possible to give a reassuring massage through clothes and those who received this enjoyed the physical contact and found it calming and soothing. There are not many photos of this because it is hard to massage and take photos at the same time and also for reasons of dignity.
