This morning Helen went around the residents with our “therapy cats” Cleo and Jasper to see who would like to cuddle, stroke or brush them. The cats purr, miaow, blink and move and most people are usually really pleased to see them. Everyone who was awake was offered the opportunity to spend some time with them if they wanted. Nicole, Gwyneth and Eve seemed to get the most from this today and were delighted by them. It’s a good chance to talk about old family pets too and a few people enjoyed talking about their dogs and cats.
