This morning we planted up some spring bulbs in pots ready to brighten up the inside of the building in spring. Helen had hyacinths and small daffodils so people took it in turn to plant these, with Stephen ensuring that everything was planted at the right depth and distance. We also had a look at the cosmos, asters and cornflowers that we planted earlier in the season and put some in a vase and Helen took these round to show residents who weren’t helping with the bulbs. We will pick the asters and remaining cornflowers for drying soon. It was a beautiful morning and Zuandi and Stephen helped with some watering outside.
