The first half of the morning we had a knit and natter session. Vicky’s mother-in-law donated a big bag of wool, so Vicky bought a few pairs of knitting needles. Vicky knew how to do plain knitting but never knew how to cast on, so she watched a YouTube demo and as soon as she got to work, she did four sets of casting on to get us started. She went around asking who could knit and who would like to do some this morning. We found it quite relaxing.
