This afternoon Vicky got out the weaving set for us to have a go at. There were two sets, one was basket weaving and was weaving mats. Vicky thought that the baskets would be more challenging and the mats a little easier, but in actual fact it was the other way around! Everyone managed to do some of the basket weaving but even Vicky struggled with the mats, as the ribbons were cut too short and kept coming loose. Next time Vicky will bring some longer ribbons and use the plastic needles with them to make it easier and more enjoyable. However, everyone seemed very relaxed and liked they enjoyed the activity.
