We had another exciting Gardening club session today, talking about the RSPB and looking at pictures of birds. We had fun identifying them and reminiscing about bird watching activities. Margaret Saunders had lots of stories to tell about her Father, a keen birdwatcher. We made food for the birds with lard and seeds and dried fruit. Peggy Larder and Pam C were very animated by this session as they are both keen bird lovers and also had some stories to tell. We discussed the results of the RSPB survey and agreed to take part this year and put out the bird feeders by the end of next week.
