Today was our Little Acorns (Intergenerational toddler group) Christmas party, hosted by Medieval Mayhem play centre. We travelled by taxi with Vicky, Helen, Paula and Krystal, and met the mums and tots there. We took Marjory, Janet, Margaret S, Nicole, Pam C, Elsie, Anne, Tricia, Margaret P and were joined by our friends Peggy and Ruth. We had refreshments whilst we watched the children play. Vicky led us in singing Christmas songs which we all enjoyed. Vicky read a story to the children called “The Night Before Christmas”, which the children seemed to enjoy. I think the most enjoyed activities were making Christmas baubles and playing reindeer ring toss. We enjoyed some party food together, wearing festive hats. We ended with handing out presents to the children.
