We had a very enjoyable trip out to the Crucible tea Dance this afternoon, with Vicky and Betty. Marion’s daughter Jill met us there. We started with our picnic lunch that Helen had kindly made for us. There was no main singer today, as she was ill so we had a C.D on and then later a young lady played a couple of songs on the keyboard and was accompanied by an elderly chap singing along on the microphone. We had a little dance together. We did lots of socialising with each other and the other care homes and did lots of laughing together.
