We had another exciting Bonfire party with lots of family, staff and friends joining in the fun. We started off the event with a grand performance from our old friends, The Yorkshire Teabags. They gave us some interesting instruments to play and we particularly liked blowing the Kazoo – Marion Peck and Susan being particularly good at this. Many of us enjoyed a dance or two. We sang Happy Birthday to Margaret Seal who had her 96th birthday a few days previously. She was very pleased with her coffee and walnut cake and basked in it all. We had superb party food – hotdogs, burgers, chilli and jacket potatoes, etc. Arthur’s family won the traditional Bonfire quiz (provided by Janet’s son, Adrian). We rounded the evening off with a stupendous firework display, managed by Scott.
