We had an extra special toddler group session this morning! We started with free play and a song session, while we were waiting for the animals to arrive. Sam did an introduction and told us a little bit about herself. She then got the animals out, one at a time and came around the room introducing each animal to us and asking who would like to look, stroke or hold each animal. Everyone was so brave. The animals that she brought were a tarantula (Charlotte), a snake (Barry), a tortoise (Turbo), a skunk (Poppy) and a bearded dragon. Even Vicky held the tarantula and snake and faced her fears and she’s a wuss! We had lots of questions about the animals, which Sam was more than happy to answer for us. The session went very fast and we hope to have a visit from her in the future.
