Vicky took us to the monthly Dementia screening at the Showroom cinema in town. This month’s film was called Judy, a true story about the life of Judy Garland. We each had a cup of popcorn to munch on during the film. The film was very sad. Vicky was glad that she had taken tissues! We had our friend and volunteer Betty join us. Afterwards we enjoyed a picnic in the café area. The staff looked after us and gave us free teas and coffees and chatted to us. Next month’s film is on the 26th November and is going to be a slightly more cheerful film called “Blinded by the Light”, featuring Bruce Springsteen..
