We had an enjoyable walk down to the Jesus Centre today for our fortnightly Memory Cafe event. We had more helpers than residents today which was lovely – a full cafe! Good to have Philippa Hughes join us there for the first time. She enjoyed meeting up with some familiar faces. We liked looking at some old picture card albums and the stamp album was of particular interest to Roy. We had fun with the puppets – George, Rosie and Leo the Lion. Pam Crossland took a particular liking to Leo. We admired some laminated Autumn leaves and reminisced together. We enjoyed a hot meal, a guitar sing-a-long with Tracy and then headed back to the Home.
