We had a Royal Family theme at the Memory Cafe today with lots of books, pictures and memorabilia. We even played the Alphabet Game based around the royal family and Rita was particularly good at this and won outright. She was pleased with her chocolate prize. We enjoyed an excellent meal – fish, chips and peas with homemade rhubarb crumble and custard. Delicious! It was good to have Pamela Crossland’s friend, Ann, there again who spent a special time with Pam, reminiscing about her childhood and memories of the royal family. Roy thoroughly enjoyed reading one of the books and the war-time guitar sing-a-long at the end of the session.
