Summer Party – 20.7.19
We had a fabulous summer party with lots of friends and relatives joining us. Most residents chose to sit outside and thoroughly enjoyed listening to our Buddy Holly look-a-like, Daniel Gill. He was fabulous! Very interactive. Susan especially liked him and he sang a song to her, Peggy Sue. Great to have so many volunteers running our stalls. A big thank you to them – Jo, Heather, Julie, Ursula, Grace, Ruth, Krystal, etc. We raised £347 towards our activity fund. Becky won the Sheffield United tickets and Kelly the Sheffield Wednesday tickets. There were lots of other prizes too and the winners got to choose what they wanted. A big thank you to everyone who came along, bought raffle tickets, donated cakes or tombola prizes. It was a pleasure to sing Happy Birthday to our new carer, Jemma (19 today!) and Anne McKay, one of our residents, whose birthday is on Monday.
