We enjoyed a very lively birthday celebration for Wendy and Nellie this afternoon led by Annie (who hasn’t visited us for quite some time). She sang many songs from the 1960’s that we all know and love. Many got up and danced with some preferring to do some sit-dancing or clapping. We joined in with the singing with 3 doing solos, encouraged by Annie – Susan, Olga and Margaret Saunders. Good to have Carol (Nellie’s daughter all the way from France) and Angie (Elsie’s daughter). We ended the event with a giant pink birthday cake complete with edible butterflies.
