A small group of us went to the Irish Tea Dance this month to see Dave Oldroyd singing and playing some Irish tunes on his keyboard. Both Olga and Mary thoroughly his performance and the tasty hot and cold buffet provided at this event. We had a few games of bingo which was exciting but unfortunately, we didn’t win anything this time round. An old neighbour of Mary’s, who lives in Crookes, recognised her and came for a chat. A few asked after Margaret Pashley, who unfortunately didn’t feel well enough to come this time. A lovely way to spend a rainy Wednesday afternoon.
