We had a lovely time at the Jesus Centre Tea Dance today. Our regular singer Heather brought her two children, with it being the school holiday. Everyone enjoyed watching the kids dancing and in fact the kids enjoyed it too and asked if they can come back in the summer holidays. Nearly everyone had a dance, whether on their feet or in their seats or wheelchairs. We enjoyed jam and cream scones and hot drinks in the interval. Vicky did a raffle. Heather’s children won the ring toss game, Yo won the ball toss game (And then gave it to the children), Edna won the chocolate egg and bunny, (And then gave it to the children) and Peggy won the tin of biscuits. Val enjoyed clearing the tables and Norah and Margaret enjoyed cleaning them. We enjoyed having Twelve Trees care home join us and hope to see them at the next one.
