We had a fabulous fund-raising Easter Sunday event with glorious weather so many of us sitting out in the garden. We had some amazing donations for our tombola and 14 raffle prizes from local businesses. We also had an Easter Bonnet Competition with Mary, Ruth, Julie Warne and her friend Kit entering, plus Sheila’s daughter, Philippa and Betty. We couldn’t choose a winner, they were so fantastic. We inherited two amazing Easter bonnets from Margaret Pashley’s Irish Friend, Mary, so many of us had a go at modelling those. Tracy made speciality coffees and gorgeous cake was donated, so we had a great afternoon. Valerie Loft’s family and Mary’s family both won prizes in the Easter Quiz. Andy ran the tombola and Vicky was in charge of the raffle. We made over £200 so it was a very worthwhile event. Thank you to all who came along, helped, donated and bought raffle and tombola tickets.
