We had a fantastic time at the Jesus Centre Tea Dance today!. We didn’t have as many attendees this time but we still had a marvelous time! We had Heather sing for us again. We noticed that Heather’s voice has improved even more and at some points she sounded like the original singer for particular songs! The attendees from Hallamshire care home this time were Susan, Elsie, Marion Peck, Nellie, Mary and her daughter Julie, Winn and her son Steve, Vicky and Jo as staff and Rita, Betty and Steve L as volunteers. We also had our friends Peggy and Ruth join us. Three regulars came from Ascot Lodge too which was lovely. One of the ladies thanked Vicky for putting the event on, as she’d thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one. We enjoyed dancing to the music and having a sing along. In the interval we enjoyed cream scones and hot drinks. Vicky organised a raffle, the prizes were An owl tablet/Ipad stand, a fox mobile phone stand, a wash set , a nail polish set and a lip gloss set. We missed the toddlers this morning so hopefully some will be able to join us at the next one! Thank you to everyone who helped set up before hand including Ian and Phil
