We had a lovely time together with Little Acorns toddler group this morning! We had four mums and four toddlers attend. Margaret Stockbridge’s granddaughter Nicky and great granddaughter Emmie came, which was very nice. The residents who attended were Anne, Margaret Stockbridge, Elsie, Olga, Margaret Pashley, Margaret Saunders and friends, Marion Peck, Tricia and our friend Peggy. We started with a bit of imaginative play, using the plastic food and kitchen toys and creative play, which was playdough. At 11 we had the pleasure of having Holly from Pyjama Drama come and do some drama play with us. The drama play was a big hit with our residents, and everyone joined in with the actions and imaginative play. After Holly had finished, we had some fresh fruit salad a snack and chatted with each other. We are looking to the next toddler group which is in a fortnight.
